For Sunday brunch, Gisela prepared Bavarian veal sausage (Weißwurst) with sweet mustard (Süßer Senf) and pretzels. This is a typical Bavarian style meal, and in Bavaria it’s typical to drink wheat beer (Weißbier) with this menu. Since it was too early for beer, we had coffee and grapefruit juice instead. At Daimler AG, the factory workers can order this Bavarian menu with beer. When I heard about this menu, I thought it’s so German that you can drink beer at workplace. Even though I don’t drink alcohol, this is also my favorite German menu.

On Friday, Tom and I went to Peter’s office to have lunch in the cafeteria. After lunch, Peter showed Tom his desk and proudly introduced him to his toy from Japan.
