Sterilization

On Saturday, Jenny, Fabian and their almost-3-years-old daughter June helped us shop for baby necessities at Migros City. Thanks to June’s professional eyes and quick decision, we got most of the items recommended by the adoptive parents from the same agency. Tonight, Peter sterilized new baby bottles and pacifiers before taking them to Thailand. I know some parents prefer a sterilizer, but we chose to cook them in a boiling water. I wonder if it really sterilizes…

* Have you noticed Peter’s new glasses? He got it from Burrioptik in Zürich. It’s my birthday gift.

So much fun to prepare everything, bit by bit. Hope the sterilising of the bottles will get faster with more training.

thanks for the compliments! one colleague said the new look reminds her of a newscaster.
so now i start each sentence like a striking news: “IN ZURICH TODAY …”

If Peter really enjoys the sterilising, he can keep it up. But actually it’s only necessary until the baby is approx six months old. After that she has her anti-bacteria machinery up and going and can fend off evil dirty bacteria-monsters. But he looks very professional and happy!
