This morning we received two packages from Momo in Boston and my mom in Tokyo. Momo’s package was filled with baby goods, from cute dresses to toys. I especially liked the summer dress from Cherokee by Target. I will bring all of them to Thailand!!
Peter could not stop laughing when he read out Momo’s letter to me. “Make sure you tell your daughter these toys are ‘limited edition’ or ‘collector’s item.’” It’s so Momo!! She will be a cool auntie, I have no doubt.

We also received a Domo doll, which Peter fell in love at the first sight. He first screamed “何コレ、こわっ！！” (Holy shit! This is scary!!) in Japanese and then immediately said “we’ll definitely take this to Thailand.” I am not sure what made him attach to it so instantly. Below is Domo-kun. (Not the kitty.)
In Mom’s package were two books I ordered from Amazon.co.jp:
1) Taku’s new book “Way of Life” is a reportage about 28 artists all over the world. The photography is of course done by Taro. This book is a must-have for anybody in the creative field. Unfortunately the text is all in Japanese.
2) My childhood’s semi-favorite book “Guri and Gura“.

Thank you so much, Momo and Jake. Your selections are amazing, stylish AND with consideration about collectability. These limited edition dolls will later on surely finance our kid’s way thru college.

ねむちゃーん、久しぶりにブログ読んだら、うれしい〜〜〜☆タイいよいよなんだね。なんだか、わくわくするネ♪それにしても、DOMOくん、おかしすぎる。あれってたしかNHK関係だっけ？？？おかしい〜。
