Since we started the adoption process, we’ve been reading about Thailand and adoption (see BOOKS). Last week we visited a pediatrician to obtain medication, and he asked if we’ve already read a book about babies in general. Oh my goodness, we totally FORGOT about it!!!! We panicked for a second, but he recommended us a best-seller “Babyjahre (baby Years)” by a pediatrician Dr.Remo H. Largo.
He said the book is so good that he read it “from the beginning to the end and from the end to the beginning”. We will read it on the flight to Bangkok.
Dad also sent me a similar type of book from Japan called “育育辞典 (A Dictionary of Child Rearing)” in a super nicely designed cover. Thank you very much.

Both of them describe the physical growth and development of a child and how you as a parent can accommodate to its needs. I really wonder how it’s going to be, me as a mom and Peter as a father. We always joke that I’ll be the bad cop and Peter the good cop just like my parents. What I know for sure is that we will be a great team for our daughter!!
We are flying off to Bangkok at 13.30 tomorrow!!
